After a delayed 7 hour flight from the 40deg heat of dubai we touched down at a chilli heathrow....through customs quickly and to the central bus station for the 2 hour trip to milton keynes. And so it was soon that we were shivering outside waiting for our daughter and fiance' to arrive in "betty rose" thier combi.
After lots of hugs and laughter...they couldn't understand why we were cold, she has aclimatized.
After a recovery nap we headed to the "famous"? Milton Keynes concrete cows for the obligatory pic's.... then the longest shopping centre in Europe..ouch my feet hurt

Saturday awoke to forecast of worsening weather forecast for next week ( rain and max 11-15) so London will not only be amaing it will be challenging...just rug up I guess. Its Claires Hens and Alixs bucks party today, the girls are having a luch and after party..I managed to skip the paint balling (hips and all) and Andrew and I will catch them up late inthe evening.
Its off to London tomorrow for a fews days of jubilee celebrations...its a two day public holiday so there will be thousands of extra people there...hope to say hi to Liz...will let you know how we go.
