4th of July in a cold San Francisco

We pulled into Emmerville, the end of the rail line on the 4th of July, busing our way across the Bay bridge into a typical very cold San Francisco "summers day". We were to understand the phenomena of the "Fog Pump" in the coming day as temperatures plummeted and some fog rolled in.
Well it was the 4th of July so we headed off with our American flag with what seemed the rest of SF to watch the fireworks from Pier 31 suitably rugged up....a night to remember.
soooo cold

..yes we are

Our short stay in San Francisco was punctuated by a crazy tour with "urban Safari's" , some shopping and for Anita, a cable car ride.
